Vaccination policies
After consulting with a local Veterinary Hospital and investigating other health resources, the following vaccination requirements have been voted upon and approved by the advisory board.
Rabies vaccination
Must be current (1 or 3 year vaccination are both acceptable).
Distemper And Parvo vaccinations (DA2PP)
- Puppies up to 6 months of age must have been vaccinated in the last 2 months
- Puppies up to 1 year of age must have been vaccinated in the last 6 months.
- Dogs over 1 year of age must have proof of a current vaccination or serum titer from their vet or veterinary service.
Older dogs, or dog with special health considerations, may bring documentation from their vet that the titer or vaccination is not necessary.
Leptospirosis vaccination
Most vets generally recommend vaccinations every 2-3 years until the age 5-7 and a titer annually after that to check for acceptable levels of antibodies.
